BACK-OFF
Indications:
A spray against tail biting and fighting in pigs and feather-pecking in poultry.
Description:
Back-Off is an environmentally friendly aerosol which has a characteristic repulsive odour. It protects pigs and poultry from their pen-mates upon application.
Dosage & Administration:
Spray the affected parts, when biting and pecking occur. Repeat as necessary.
Caution(s):
Contents under pressure.
Protect from sunlight.
Do not expose to temperatures above 50° C.
Do not puncture or incinerate, even when empty.

DEXAMETHASONE INJECTION

Indications:
Dexamethasone is an anti-inflammatory agent for use in the treatment of arthritis, snakebite, and ketosis in cattle, as well as supportive therapy for acute diseases and milk fever for small animals. It is indicated for non-specific dermatitis, supportive therapy following surgery, inflammatory conditions of joints not associated with ruptured ligaments in horses. It is indicated for carpitis, tendonitis, osselet, myositis, bursitis, sprains, and supportive therapy for fatigue, heat exhaustion, and acute infectious diseases.
Dosage & Administration:
By intravenous or intramuscular injection.
Cats: 0.125 to 0.5 mg
Dogs: 0.25 to 1.0 mg
Horses: 2.5 to 5.0 mg
Cattle: 5 to 20 mg
Repeat as necessary. Vary dosage according to the severity of the condition.

Indications:

Cattle & Horses: Use 5 to 10 mg of dexamethasone a day, administered orally either by sprinkling on the feed or mixing with a small amount of water and given as a drench.

STOP-PICK

Indications:
For use on chicks, poults, and all fowl to stop picking and to prevent cannibalism.
Dosage & Administration:
It is important that Stop-Pick be used at the first indication of picking before the habit becomes firmly established.
To prevent the outbreak of cannibalism, apply on 15 to 20 birds in each 100 at the first sign of picking.
To start the healing process, apply over sores on birds already picked.
Stop-Pick is repulsive to fowl, yet harmless and effective.

Udder Care
The udder requires constant care to keep healthy. There are a variety of ointments available to keep the udder soft so that it will not chap or crack. Then there are the disinfectants in ointment and liquid form for teats and udder. Special ointments and creams are available to treat infections as well.
Milk fever is also a common problem. Injectable solutions are available to manage this condition.
B.B. JELL-UDDER BALM

Indications:
B.B. Jell-Udder Balm can be used for all farm animals. It acts as a softening and protective ointment for chapped and damaged udders and teats of cows, mares, and ewes. It can even be used when cowpox is present. B.B. Jell can also be used to lubricate teat dilators and teat tubes. Its soothing and antiseptic ingredients are good for treating all wounds, cuts, and abrasions of horses and all livestock.
Dosage & Administration:
General Use: Apply liberally to the affected area and rub in well. Repeat as necessary
Chapped & Damaged Teats: Apply twice daily at milking times. Massage in well.

Indications:
As an aid in the treatment of topical bacterial infections associated with some bacteria susceptible to nitrofurazone in horses.
Dosage & Administration:
Clean area with soap and water. Dry thoroughly. Apply ointment directly to affected area, or first place on a piece of gauze directly in contact with the affected area or use a bandage. Keep ointment in contact with the lesion for 12 to 24 hours. For a wet dressing, dilute with 2 to 3 parts of sterile water or saline, and apply several times daily.

Indications:
Germicidal Teat Dip is indicated for use as an aid in the control of bacteria that cause mastitis.
