Assay USP 25p.610	Dissolve 50mg in 50mL chloroform in a covered flask, add 50mL of salt solution and 0.5mL bromophenol blue TS and mix. Titrate with tetra-n-butylammonium iodide solution until about 1mL from endpoint and shake vigorously for 2 minutes. Continue the titration slowly shaking in between additions.?Continue the titration until the?chloroform layer assumes a blue color. Each mL of titrant is equivalent to 3.009mg of Docosate Sodium.
