Soluble Concentrate
Indications:
A combination of Neomycin and Oxytetracycline Hydrochloride,
Neotet soluble powder is for use in the treatment of bacterial
enteritis, swine dysentery, salmonellosis, and bacterial
respiratory infections of swine; scours and bacterial
enteritis, and stress conditions of chickens; C.R.D.,
bluecomb, bacterial enteritis, infectious sinusitis, and
stress conditions of turkeys; and bacterial enteritis
of mink. Directions
for Use:
Swine:
- Mix 100 grams in 200 Litres of
drinking water for 4-5 days.
- For prevention use 1/2 the treatment
level.
- Respiratory
Infections - Mix 100 grams in 100 Litres of
drinking water for 4-5 days.
- Atrophic
Rhinitis - Mix 100 grams in 200 Litres of drinking
water until 14 days prior to slaughter. (Neotet has
no effect on the organism causing this disease, but
it will aid in maintaining weight gains in the presence
of this disease.)
Calves:
- Scours
- For treatments for herds, mix 100 grams in 200 Litres
of drinking water for 4-5 days.
- To drench - mix 1 rounded teaspoonful
per 100 kg of body weight in 100 mL of water
- For prevention use 1/2 the treatment
level for 4-5 days.
- Bacterial
Respiratory Infections -For treatment for herds,
mix 100 grams in 100 Litres of drinking water for
4-5 days.
- To drench - mix 1 rounded teaspoonful
per 50 kg of body weight in 100 mL of water.
Chickens and Turkeys:
- Chronic
Respiratory Disease - for treatment mix 100
grams in 200-400 Litres of drinking water for 3-5
days.
- For prevention - mix 100 grams
in 200-400 Litres of drinking water for the first
3 days, and for 1 day at each feed change (starter
to grower).
- Bluecomb*
and bacterial enteritis - for treatment mix 100 grams
in 200-400 Litres of drinking water for 3 days
- Stop for 2 days
- Treat for 2 more days if improvement
is not noted
For prevention mix 100 grams in 400 Litres of drinking
water for 3-5 days.
- Infectious
synovitis* - for treatment mix 100 grams in
200-400 Litres of drinking water for 3-5 days.
- Stress
conditions - for treatment mix 100 grams in
200-400 Litres of drinking water for 3-5 days.
*Turkeys Only
Mink:
- Bacterial enteritis - for treatment
mix 100 grams in 400 Litres of drinking water for
4-5 days.
- For prevention use 1/2 the treatment
level.
Automatic Medicators:
- Prepare a stock solution by mixing
500 grams (5 packages) in 7.6 L water. This solution
will medicate 1000 L of drinking water at approximately
100 grams per 200 L.
Caution:
- Fresh solutions should be prepared
daily.
- Medicated water should be the only
water source.
- Recommended dosages are based on
average water intake.
- Use level and duration of medication
period dependent on the severity of symptoms and response
to the treatment level used.
- Use level is also dependent on
the past history of disease incidence.
- If symptoms persist call your veterinarian.
- Keep out of the reach of children.
